Lake Tanukiko is renowned as the lake that affords a panoramic view of "Diamond Mt. Fuji": the peak of Mt. Fuji as the sun rises directly over it. This unforgettable spectacle is visible only for about a week around April 20 and August 20 and attracts numerous spectators. On your rental bicycle you can tour around the entire lakeshore, which is dotted with accommodation facilities and campgrounds.
